This market is a lively place, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to shop. Our shop is one of many in the row, and it is usually quite easy to spot because of the things we have displayed near the entrance. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have, from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two or three people come in at once. We have been at this location for years and have seen many shops come and go, but we are still here. The 120Ft road is always busy with trucks and cars, which brings a lot of dust, so we are constantly cleaning the front. Inside, it smells a bit like old wood and electronics. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a simple shop where we keep our stock and talk to our customers. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood, and we know many of them by name. It is a straightforward business, no frills or extras, just us selling what we have in a busy market. We often leave the back door open to get a breeze even though it brings in noise.
