Murti Food Establishment

At Murti Food Establishment, our day starts pretty early. We are located at 347/12/22, right where the Achar Factory is in Saleem Tabri. You can usually smell what we are doing before you even see the building. The scent of mustard oil and spices is everywhere, and it sticks to your clothes by the end of the shift. It’s a busy, noisy place. We have people moving big jars and checking the vats all day long. The floor is often a bit stained from the spices, and it’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We are more about aprons and sturdy boots here. It’s honest work, and it gets pretty hot during the Ludhiana summers. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It's just us and the workers making sure everything is bottled right. Sometimes we sit out front during our break and watch the trucks go by on the main road. The building is old and we’ve had to patch up the roof a few times, but it serves its purpose. We don’t really care about being fancy. We just want to make sure the jars are full and the lids are tight. It's a simple life at the factory, and we wouldn't have it any other way. There is always a lot to clean up, but we just get it done.
