Munna Pan Store

We have been here at Munna Pan Store on the Brahampuri Ludhiana Main Road for a long time now. If you know this road, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the trucks and bikes zooming past every single day. Our little shop is just there on the side, where we set up early every morning. I usually start by cleaning the counter and getting the fresh betel leaves ready. People stop by when they are heading to work or just passing through. It is not a fancy place, just a simple spot where you can get your pan and maybe a cigarette or some tea if we have it ready. The dust from the road is always there but we try to keep things tidy. We know most of the people who come here by their faces even if we don't know all their names. Sometimes they stay for a bit to talk about the weather or how much the prices of things are going up lately. Ludhiana is a fast city but at our counter things move a bit slower while we wrap the pan just right. It is a lot of work sitting here all day in the heat but it is what we do. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is stocked up. It is just a regular life here on the main road and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood. We don't do much else.
