Mebira Foods

Finding Plot No. 557 isn't always easy if you aren't from around New Janta Nagar. Street No. 7 is tucked away, and people often get turned around near Aurora Place before they spot our sign. Here at Mebira Foods, we spend most of our mornings just organizing the inventory that came in the night before. The space is a bit tight with all the crates and boxes piled up, but we’ve found a way to make it work. It's mostly just us and a couple of helpers trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just a desk in the corner and a lot of shelves. The neighborhood is fairly loud, especially when the trucks come through to drop off supplies. Sometimes we have to stop what we’re doing just to help a driver navigate the narrow turn at the end of the street. Lunch usually happens in shifts because there’s always a phone call to take or a small order to pack for someone waiting at the door. We use a lot of handwritten lists to keep track of what needs to go out. The windows are usually kept open to let a bit of air in, even if it brings in the noise from the street. It’s a plain, hardworking environment where the main goal is just getting through the daily list of tasks without too much trouble.
