Manjits

Manjits is right in the middle of Model Town Bazaar Street in Neelasandra. It’s a very lively part of town, and there is always something going on outside the door. Our shop is one of those places where you can find all sorts of things. We don't stick to just one item. It’s more of a local spot where people come in for whatever they need that day. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes you have to move one thing to get to another. We have been in Neelasandra for a while, so we know many of the faces that walk by every morning. It’s not a corporate store with uniforms or fancy displays. It’s just a regular bazaar shop with a counter and a lot of stock. Sometimes the street gets so loud with people shouting and bikes honking that it’s hard to hear the customers, but that’s just how it is in Model Town. We spend a lot of time tidying up the displays and talking to the regulars who stop by to say hello. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. We just try to keep things simple and make sure we have what people are looking for when they come into the bazaar. It’s a busy life, but it’s home for us.
