Kumar Fast Food & Icecream Centre

Kumar Fast Food & Icecream Centre is located on Shahpur Road, right across from Khalsa International in Field Ganj. This is a very active part of the city and the road is almost never quiet. We have the fast food side and the ice cream side, and both keep us pretty busy from morning until late at night. Looking out the window, you can always see the students and people coming and going from Khalsa International. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us here making snacks and scooping ice cream for the local crowd. The shop is simple and we focus on getting the orders out fast. In the summer, the ice cream side is obviously the main thing people want, but we do the fast food all year round. Field Ganj is a tight-knit area and we know a lot of our customers by name. Sometimes the traffic on Shahpur Road makes it hard for people to stop, but they usually find a way to park or just pull over for a minute. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the freezers are working right because that is important. It’s honest work and we don’t try to dress it up as anything else. We are just a local spot where you can grab a bite or a cold treat while you are out in the neighborhood.
