Indus World School

Our school is out in Ayali Kalan, on the outskirts of Ludhiana. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but the benefit is that we have a lot more space than the schools stuck in the middle of town. The campus is spread out with several buildings and some open ground where the students can play sports or just walk around during their breaks. We have been in this location for a while and have watched the city slowly grow closer to us. It is a large facility, so there is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a bit of paint. The morning starts with the buses arriving from all different parts of Ludhiana, which is always a bit of a hectic time. Once everyone is in their classrooms, the place settles into a regular rhythm. We have the usual labs and a library, but they are just part of the everyday tools we use. The staff is a mix of people who have been here for years and some newer faces. We don't put on a show or try to look like a corporate entity. We are just a local school doing our best to get through the curriculum each year. Some days the power goes out or the heat is a bit much, but we just keep going.
