Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School

We are located on Machhi Wara Road in the Ludhiana Central area. It is a busy spot and you can usually hear the traffic from the classrooms. The school has been here for a long time, so most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We have the usual senior secondary classes for the local kids. The building is made of brick and cement, and we try to keep the paint looking decent. In the mornings, the students line up for assembly near the main gate. There is a small office where we keep the registers and paper files in old metal cabinets. The desks in the classrooms are wooden and have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have anything fancy like air conditioning in every room, but the ceiling fans work well enough. Teachers arrive early to get their chalk and books ready for the day. During the lunch break, the playground gets a bit dusty as the kids run around and play. Ludhiana gets quite hot in the summer, so we make sure the water coolers are always full. We are just a local school doing the daily work of teaching. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the air in. It is a plain place, but it serves the families around here well. Most of our staff have been with us for years and live just a short walk away from the school gates.
