Foreign Trade Agency

If you head down to Nanded Village near the Sinhgad Road area, you'll find us at our office there. Foreign Trade Agency is basically just a few rooms where we handle the ins and outs of shipping and trading. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the middle of the city, which we actually like. Most of our day involves dealing with customs forms, shipping schedules, and talking to vendors. It’s not the kind of work that sounds exciting to everyone, but it keeps us busy. We have a lot of files stacked up because there is always some new regulation or a different port requirement to look at. The office is at Barewal, and it’s a pretty straightforward place. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big lobby. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee. We spend time coordinating with people from all over, trying to make sure goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks or there’s a mix-up with the manifest, and those are the days we’re really working hard to fix things. It’s local work with a focus on things happening far away. We like the balance of being in a smaller village setting while dealing with international trade. It’s a regular job for us, and we take it one day at a time, making sure the paperwork is in order for whoever needs it.
