Flora Interior Decorator

Flora Interior Decorator is based on Gill Street, at 13 3165 1. Our workspace is usually a bit chaotic because we always have different materials like fabric swatches, wood samples, and paint charts laying around. It’s not one of those clean, empty offices you see in magazines. We actually use this space to figure out how things will fit together. There are rolls of paper with sketches on them and pencils scattered everywhere. We spend a lot of time talking to carpenters and suppliers on the phone. Gill Street is an interesting area, and we’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us. We don’t really go for the high-end corporate look. Our walls are covered with things we like or notes from old projects. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. We find that being in a real, slightly messy environment helps us stay creative. Most of the day is spent measuring things or looking at colors under different lights. We don't have a formal receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually says hello. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We enjoy the process of seeing something go from a rough drawing to an actual room, even if the work is sometimes tiring and full of small problems to solve.
