Our place is at number 21 in Gole Market, which is right in the middle of Model Town in Ludhiana. Being in Gole Market means we are surrounded by a lot of life and activity every single day. We do both architecture and interior design here. The office is a bit more decorated than some others because we like to show some of the materials we use, like wood samples or fabric swatches. It can look a bit cluttered at times with all the catalogs lying around. We spend a lot of time talking about colors and layouts with people who walk in. The windows look out onto the market, so there’s always something interesting to see when we take a break. Model Town is a great area, and we feel lucky to have a spot here. We usually have some music playing while we work on the latest interiors. It’s a creative space, but it’s also very much a workplace where we have to deal with budgets and contractors. Sometimes things get stressful when a delivery is late, but we just manage it as it comes. We’ve been here long enough that the other shop owners in Gole Market are like friends. We don’t use any fancy sales talk. We just show people what we can do and let the designs speak for themselves. It’s a steady way to work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
