Acidoindia Architect

Acidoindia Architect is located in Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. The exact spot is 9973, Street Number 6, right near Bhagwan Chownk. Ludhiana is a loud, busy city and our street is no different. You can hear the sounds of the industry and the traffic all day long. In our office, there are usually a few of us hunched over tables. We have been working from this Bhagwan Chownk area for a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the drawings we make are what matter. It gets quite cold in the winters here in Punjab, so we usually have a small heater tucked under a desk. In the summer, it's the opposite. People come in from the street with dust on their clothes, looking for advice on a new shed or a house extension. We don’t have a big reception area with a fancy person waiting to greet you. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk. We use a lot of pencils and rulers, even though everything is moving to the screen these days. There’s something about the smell of paper and ink that stays with you. We just do our work, day in and day out, making sure the measurements are right for the local builders to follow. It’s a practical life here in Ludhiana. We might not have the newest gadgets, but the table is always open for a new plan.
