Bala Arun Architect

Our office is located at 126-A in Vishal Nagar Extension, just off Pakhowal Road. Bala Arun Architect is a small setup, mostly just a couple of rooms where we keep all our supplies and drawings. It’s a bit of a trek from the city center, but it’s a nice area to be in. We’ve got a lot of books and old magazines about building and design piled up in the corners. It’s not the most organized place, but we can find what we need when it matters. We don't spend much time on the appearance of the office because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. Pakhowal Road is always moving, so there’s a steady hum of traffic in the background. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen many new houses go up in Vishal Nagar. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of people to handle the social media. Most of our work comes from people just seeing the name on the gate or hearing about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just take one project at a time and try to make sure it makes sense. It’s a quiet life here, focusing on the basics of architecture without all the extra noise. We have a small garden out front that needs weeding, but we usually prefer staying inside with our sketches and coffee.
