Cheeka Electronics

The area around the Clock Tower is always loud and that is just how life is here in the Mandir Market. We are located right at Mata Rani Mandir Chowk 12 and the bells from the temple are a sound I hear all day long. Cheeka Electronics is a small shop but it is packed with old televisions, remotes, and circuit boards that I am usually poking at with a soldering iron. The smell of burning solder is something I actually like after all these years. It is crowded in this market and sometimes you can barely walk on the street because of the vegetable vendors and the scooters. I have a small bench in the back where I do the repairs and the light is not the best but I know where everything is. People come in complaining that their remote stopped working or their screen went dark and I just tell them to leave it and come back in a couple of days. We do not have much space for customers to sit so they usually just stand in the doorway and chat while I look at their stuff. It is a busy life but being in the heart of the market means I never get bored. There is always someone new walking in with a strange problem to solve. I keep my tools in an old metal box.
