You will find C. L. Jain Woollen Mills (P) Ltd. right on the G.T. Road Bye Pass. We are located near the Chowk Rahon Road. It is a very busy junction with a lot of traffic coming from all directions. Our mill is an older building that has been part of this landscape for quite some time. Inside, it smells like wool and old machinery. We have big looms and spinning machines that take up a lot of space. It’s a loud environment when everything is running, so we have to talk loudly to hear each other. We produce different types of woollen goods here. The G.T. Road location makes it easy for trucks to load up and take the products to different markets across the region. We have a gate where the workers come in every morning. Some have been with us for decades. We don't have a modern showroom; it’s mostly just the factory floor and a small office for the directors and clerks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to generators, which adds even more to the noise. In the winter, it’s quite busy because everyone wants woollens. In the summer, we prepare for the next season. It’s a cycle we’ve been following for years. C. L. Jain Woollen Mills is just a local staple in this part of the city. We keep the machines oiled and the work moving as best as we can every single day.
