L D Trader

Our business, L D Trader, is located at Plot No. 40 on Rajpur Road, near the Newgale area. This part of Dehradun is quite active, so we see a lot of people and vehicles moving past all day. We mostly deal with trading different goods, which means our space is usually filled with boxes and crates piled up high. There isn't much of a decor to speak of; it’s mostly just a place to store stock and a small desk where we keep the ledger. We spend our time counting inventory, talking to suppliers, and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists over and over again. The weather here is nice most of the year, but the office can get a bit drafty in the winter months. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who know how the trading business works. Sometimes a shipment is late and it throws the whole week off, but that is just how it goes. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just buy and sell and try to keep the business running smoothly from this little plot on Rajpur Road.
