K. L. Knitwears is located over on Shiv Puri Road, right across from where they sell the Jai Mata Cement. Our spot is B-2-2040/9B in Jain Nagar. We’ve been here for quite some time now, working with all kinds of fabrics and machines. If you walk into our place, you’ll probably hear the hum of the knitting machines before you see anything. It’s a bit dusty with all the yarn and lint around, but that’s just how it is when you’re making clothes. We make various knit items, mostly focusing on getting the stitches right and making sure the sizes are what they should be. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. Most of the staff have been living in Jain Nagar or nearby for years. We aren't a big factory with shiny floors, just a practical space where we work hard. Sometimes we run behind on orders when a machine acts up, but we always try to get things sorted out. The neighborhood is pretty busy, so there’s always something happening outside on the road. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out nearby because of the cement shop. We just stick to what we know, which is making good knitwear that people can actually use. It’s not complicated, just honest work with our hands and the machines we’ve had for a while. We stay busy through the seasons and handle whatever comes our way without much fuss.
