Bikram Pal Binder

Bikram Pal Binder is located right on New Court Road, at number 819, over in Bharat Nagar. If you come by the shop, you will see stacks of paper and cardboard everywhere you look. We do a lot of binding work here, mostly for people who need their documents or books kept together in a solid way. The shop isn’t very big at all, and it smells like glue and old paper almost every single day. I started this work quite a while back because I liked the idea of making something solid with my own hands. We use a couple of very heavy, old machines that make a lot of noise when they are running. Sometimes the light in the back of the room flickers a bit, but we always get the job done regardless. My hands are usually a bit messy with ink or adhesive by the end of my shift. The neighbors on Bharat Nagar are all very friendly people, and we often share a cup of hot tea in the morning before the real work begins. New Court Road gets a lot of people walking by to the courts, so there is always something interesting to look at through the open door. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just find us at 819 by word of mouth. It gets a bit dusty in here from the paper trimmings, but that is just how it goes.
