Baba Hoshiarpuri Chat Bhandar

If you are looking for us, we are in Sarabha Nagar 2nd Stage. Specifically, we are in the 1st Block on 1st Main Road. It is a very busy part of town and there is always a lot of energy around. Being a chat bhandar, things are usually a bit loud and messy, but in a good way. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and prepping the different chutneys and spices. The 1st Main Road sees a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when people are out for a stroll or coming back from work. We have a small space, but we make the most of it. There isn't much room for sitting, so most people just stand around and eat while they talk. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't have a dress code or fancy menus. Everything is written on a board or people just know what we have. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and we have to work fast to keep everyone happy. We don't worry about being perfect; we just want the food to taste the way it should. Sarabha Nagar is a great place to be because there is always something going on. We are just happy to be here on the corner, doing what we do every day. It takes a lot of work to keep up with the crowd, but we enjoy the bustle of 1st Main Road and all the people.
