Ashoka Associate

Ashoka Associate is over here in Ludhiana, specifically in Sector 23. This part of the city is always moving. I spend a lot of time in my office dealing with various bits of paperwork and meeting people who drop by. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a big wooden desk that has seen better days. I keep a calendar on the wall that I mark off with a thick pen. Sector 23 has a lot of shops and small businesses like mine. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. I usually get in early before the heat gets too bad. My name is on a small plate outside, but it is a bit faded now. People in Ludhiana are hardworking, and I try to keep up with that. Sometimes we have a lot of work and other times it is just waiting for the phone to ring. I like the routine of it. I have a small electric fan that hums in the corner. It doesn't do much, but it helps. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how things work around here. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We are just here doing our bit every day. We don't need much more than a steady stream of work to keep us going.
