Gaurav Flexi Pack

Our unit is at C-1 in the Sarojini Nagar industrial area. It is a loud place because of all the factories around us. We have these big rolls of plastic and film stacked up against the walls. The smell of ink and heat is pretty strong inside the shed. We spend our days running the machines that make the packaging bags. It is a lot of watching the rollers to make sure nothing gets stuck or wrinkled. The floor is concrete and it gets quite cold in the winter months. We do not have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner with a computer that is a few years old. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that come into the yard. The rain makes a lot of noise on the metal roof, sometimes so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We are just a small group of people trying to get the orders out on time. There is always something that needs oiling or a belt that needs tightening. We don't do anything flashy. We just make the flexi packs that other businesses use for their products. It is dusty and heavy work, but we are used to the routine. We stay until the last machine is turned off for the night.
