Radiant Elastomers is located over at Sy No 150, Plot No 22/D in the Gandhinagar area of Balanagar. Specifically, we are on Road No 5 within CIE Phase-2. If you know the area, you know it is a hub for manufacturing. We work with rubber and various elastomers, which means the smell of raw materials is something you never really lose. Our facility isn't something out of a magazine; it's a working plant with machines that have seen a lot of use. We spend the day mixing batches and checking the molds. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of operating around here. The guys on the floor are usually covered in a bit of dust or residue, but they don’t mind. We keep a close eye on the shipping dock because there is always a truck waiting to take something to a customer. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of technical specs on a clipboard. We’ve got a small office near the front, but most of the real work happens in the back where the heat is. The road outside can get pretty jammed up during shift changes, but otherwise, it’s just the steady sound of the presses running. We have been here for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we just keep doing what we do.
