Priyanka Rock Drills

Priyanka Rock Drills is tucked away in the industrial area of Cherlapally. To be more specific, we are at Plot No. 31, in the Phase II Extension of the IDA. It is out in the R.R. Dist, so it takes a bit of a drive to get here from the main city. The surroundings are mostly other warehouses and manufacturing units. Our place is usually covered in a thin layer of dust because of all the rock drills we handle. It’s the kind of work that gets your hands dirty. We have a large yard area where some of the heavier equipment sits under a shed. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that's seen better days. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. Usually, you’ll just find one of us walking around with a clipboard or checking on a machine. The noise from the neighboring units can be pretty loud during the day, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. It isn't the most glamorous job, but we've been doing it at this location for a long time. We know the roads around Cherlapally quite well by now. We just focus on the drills and making sure everything is in working order. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day. There’s always something that needs fixing or moving, so we stay pretty active around the plot.
