Diamond Tools

Our little place is over at 1-1/1 in Fateh Nagar. It’s not the biggest shop on the street, but Diamond Tools has been part of this neighborhood for years. I remember when we first moved in, the road wasn't even paved properly. Now there's so much traffic, it’s hard to find a place to park some mornings. We mostly handle different kinds of cutting tools and equipment. It’s dusty work, so my hands are always a bit rough, but I don’t mind. People come in looking for specific sizes or just to ask advice on what works best for a project they’re doing at home or for their work. We try to keep things organized on the racks, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we’re busy. My nephew helps me out part-time. He’s still learning the names of all the different bits and blades. We don't have a big corporate office or a call center. If you call, you just talk to whoever is closest to the phone. Sometimes we’re out back and might miss a ring, but we always call back. It’s just how we do things here in Fateh Nagar. There’s a tea stall just down the way where we go for breaks. It’s a decent living. We focus on the tools we have and making sure they’re what the customer needs without making a big fuss about it. We close up around 7 PM most nights.
