Dies Crafts

If you head over to Plot No.29 in the T.I.E. area of Balanagar, you’ll find us at Dies Crafts. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise from the neighboring units, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We focus on making dies for various uses, and our workshop is pretty much what you’d expect from a place like this. It’s full of heavy equipment, workbenches, and plenty of raw materials stacked in the corners. We aren't really the type of business that has a polished storefront. It’s more about the actual work happening on the floor. Balanagar is a busy hub, so there are always trucks moving in and out, which can make the roads a bit messy. Our team is small, mostly just people who have been doing this for a long time and know the ins and outs of the trade. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're checking a drawing or an invoice. Most of the time, our hands are actually on the tools. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages, and it’s a bit faded now, but people know where we are. It’s a practical environment where we just try to finish the jobs we have on the list. We don't really have a lot of meetings; we just talk over the sound of the machines and get things done as they come in.
