Warry Food Industries

This unit is located at Plot No-8, Survey No-88, right along National Highway No-8 in Mahavir Nagar. Being on the highway means there is a constant roar of trucks and buses passing by all day and night. We are near the Ishar Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us on Dudhai Road. Bhachau Kutch can be a very dry and windy place, so we deal with a lot of sand getting into the entryway. Inside the factory, we focus on the food processing work. It is a large shed with different sections for storage and the actual machinery. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grain or husks. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because the salt in the air around Kutch can be hard on the metal parts. It is a long commute for some of our workers who come from the nearby villages. We usually have tea together in the morning before the machines start up. There isn't any fancy lobby here; you just walk straight into the work area. We keep our records in a small office that gets quite hot in the afternoon sun. It is a tough environment but we have gotten used to the pace of the highway life and the demands of the food industry here. There is always something that needs fixing or moving.
