Oswal Salt Syndicate

Oswal Salt Syndicate is located at Shop No. 9, on Plot No. 58 in Sector- 9/B. Dealing with salt is a dry and heavy business. We spend a lot of our time overseeing the unloading of trucks and making sure the bags are stored properly so they don’t get damp. The shop isn’t very big, but we manage to fit quite a bit in there. Sector- 9/B is a busy commercial area, and there’s always a lot of dust in the air from the vehicles passing by. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of our day is spent talking to wholesalers and checking the inventory. We don't have a computer system that does everything; we still use a lot of handwritten notes and paper receipts. Sometimes the salt dust makes everyone sneeze, but we’re used to it. The floor is always a bit white from the spills. We don’t do any fancy marketing or have a big sales team. People know we are here and they come to us when they need a supply. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We have a small bench outside where we sit and have a break when there aren’t any trucks to unload. It’s a lot of physical work, especially moving the heavy sacks around, but we just keep at it day after day without making much of a fuss about it.
