Shivji Kanji Company

Shivji Kanji Company is located in the Shree Gandhidham Grain Oil Seed's Merchant's Association Building. We are in units 63 and 64 of that building, which is near the Old Court. It’s a very well-known spot in Gandhidham-kachchh because of its history with the local merchants. Our business is focused on the trade side of things, particularly grains and oil seeds. This is a traditional line of work and our office reflects that. We don't have the latest modern furniture or glass walls. It’s a practical space where we can sit down and talk to the traders who come in. Being near the Old Court means there is always a lot of activity around the building. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. The merchant's association is a big part of how business gets done in this town. We spend our days tracking prices and making sure the shipments of seeds and grain are moving correctly. It’s a lot of face-to-face interaction and old-fashioned phone calls. We don't use much in the way of corporate language because it doesn't fit who we are. We are just local people working in a trade that has been around for generations. If you walk into the Association building, you’ll find us easily. It’s a busy place but we always have time for a quick chat about the market.
