The Shiv Mid-Town

We are located at Ward 2/A, right near the Commerce College. The Shiv Mid-Town has been around for a bit now. It is a basic place, mostly for people who have business at the college or are just passing through this part of town. We have a few rooms and a small area where people can sit. The street outside gets busy in the mornings when the students arrive for their classes. You can hear the scooters and the talking from the front gate. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It is just a desk and some chairs where we keep the guest register. Our staff lives nearby and they know the shortcuts around the ward. If you are looking for the college, you just walk out the door and turn the corner. We try to keep things quiet for the guests, but the city noise is always there. We spend a lot of time fixing the plumbing or painting a wall when it gets scuffed. It is a lot of work to keep an old building going. We don't have a big kitchen, just enough to make some tea and simple snacks if someone asks. Most people go out to the local stalls to eat anyway. We are just a regular spot for travelers who do not want to spend too much money. It is a simple life here, and we just keep the doors open for whoever needs a bed for the night. We do not do much advertising. People usually just walk in or call us. It is just a regular spot in the neighborhood.
