Shiva Salt Industries

We are out in the GIDC Industrial Area in Gandhidham, specifically at Plot No-11 in Sector 11. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of heavy machinery noise and trucks rumbling past the gate. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where the work gets done. The space is large enough for what we need. We spend most of our hours managing the piles and the equipment. It’s dusty work, and the Gandhidham sun can be quite unforgiving in the afternoons. We don't have fancy air conditioning in the main work area, just some big fans that move the hot air around. We’ve been here at Plot 11 for a good stretch of time. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the salt business well. We aren't trying to be anything other than a working industrial site. There are no decorative plants or polished floors here. Just concrete and salt. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait or do what we can by hand. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on the daily output and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. The salt piles up and then it goes out. That’s the cycle. It's a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where the space is. We just keep at it, day after day. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy. Shiva Salt Industries is just a name on a plot in Gandhidham, but we take the daily routine seriously.
