Mid India Power & Steel Ltd.; Gandhidham

Our office is situated in Mithirohar, which is part of the Gandhidham area in Kutch, Gujarat. We are right there at the Mid India Power & Steel Ltd. site. It’s quite close to the port and all the industrial activity. The air here usually smells like the sea and there is a lot of truck traffic moving in and out. We do our daily work from this spot, mainly focusing on the steel and power sectors. It is not a place for suits and ties. Most of us wear regular clothes and get our hands a bit dirty sometimes. The Pin Code here is 370201. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the different parts of the company. It’s a big landscape out here in Mithirohar with a lot of open space and industrial buildings. We have a small crew that manages the paperwork and the logistics. It gets very windy in this part of Gujarat, which can be a bit of a headache with the dust. But we’ve been here long enough that it’s just part of the routine. We don't have any flashy brochures. If someone wants to know what we do, they usually just come by and ask us. We keep a ledger of all the steel coming through and we make sure the power projects stay on track. It is a straightforward operation and we like it that way.
