Our place is at House 8 on Plot 298 in Sector 10 A over in Gandhidham. It’s a quiet residential area where we’ve set up our private limited office for the metal business. Kutch can be a dusty place especially when the wind picks up from the desert but we are used to it by now. The office is inside the house so it feels a lot more personal than a typical shop. We spend most of our time looking at orders and making sure the inventory lists match what is actually in the store. Metal prices go up and down and that keeps us on our toes every single day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that because we prefer to just talk to people directly. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat while we are loading things up. Working in Gandhidham means being close to the port which is good for the type of materials we handle. It’s a lot of manual work and checking numbers over and over again to avoid mistakes. The building is easy to find if you know the sector well. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery drivers don't even need the map anymore. It isn't a flashy setup but it gets the job done and we like the community feel of the neighborhood. Mostly we just focus on the task at hand and ignore the rest of the noise.
