Shree Odhavram Scrap Suppliers is located out at Plot No. 134 in Sector-11, Oslo. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the area, but once you find Sector-11, we are right there. The yard is usually full of stuff piled up. We deal with a lot of different things coming in on the back of trucks and tempos. It is a messy business, but someone has to do it. The dust gets everywhere, especially when the wind picks up across the open spaces in Oslo. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lobby. Usually, you’ll just find us near the scales or moving things around with the crane. It can be a long day when there are a lot of loads to sort through. We try to keep things organized, but in a scrap yard, that only lasts about five minutes before the next truck arrives. My clothes are always dirty by lunchtime, but that is part of the job. Most of the people who come by are regulars who know where we are. We have been in this spot for a good while and it works for us. It’s just a practical place for a practical kind of business. We don't worry about the small stuff, we just keep the piles moving and the yard open. Every day there is something different in the heap. That makes it interesting enough for us to keep showing up.
