Jindal Saw

Down in Village Nanakapaya, things are on a much bigger scale. This is where the heavy lifting really happens for Jindal Saw. The facility at C/12 is spread out over a lot of ground. It’s in the Taluka Mundra area, so it’s still close to the water but feels more rural. We have a huge team here, and it feels like a small town sometimes. You have people coming in from all over Kutch to work the shifts. The sound of machinery is the constant background music of our lives. We’re dealing with massive pipes and raw materials that require a lot of focus to move safely. It’s not an easy job, especially during the peak of summer when the metal gets hot to the touch. We have a lot of safety meetings and walk-throughs to make sure everything is in order. The office side is just as busy, trying to keep track of where every single piece is going. It’s a lot of logistics and checking numbers twice. We don't have much room for error when the stakes are this big. Even with all the technology, a lot of it comes down to the experience of the guys on the floor. They can tell if something is off just by the sound of the machines. It’s a place of hard work and long hours, but there’s a rhythm to it that you get used to after a while. We stay focused and just keep producing.
