You can find us at Village Samaghogha, which is located along the Pragpar - Mandvi Road. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, and the road can be quite lonely depending on the time of day. Jindal Saw Ltd. has a significant presence in this area, and our site is a major part of that. The landscape is wide and open, which is good for the kind of work we do. Most of the people working here commute from the nearby villages or stay in the local housing. The office we work out of is pretty simple, with tiled floors and a lot of cabinets for all the technical drawings and records we keep. The wind blows quite hard across the plains here, and it usually carries a bit of sand with it. We spend our days coordinating between the yard and the transport teams. It’s a lot of talking over the phone and writing down numbers. We don't have much in the way of fancy tech, just what works for us. There is a small tea area where we gather to talk about the weather or the news when things aren't too frantic. It’s a steady kind of life out here on the Mandvi Road. We aren't interested in being flashy; we just want to make sure the pipes and materials are handled correctly before they leave the village. It’s honest work in a quiet corner of the country.
