Jindal Saw Limited

Our place is in the New Colony, specifically B-5/4. This is over in Samaghogha village. It’s part of the Mundra taluka in the Bhuj district of Gujarat. The zip code is 370415. Living and working here is different than being in a big city like Delhi. It’s more laid back in some ways, but the work at Jindal Saw Limited keeps us plenty busy. The colony is where a lot of the folks stay. It’s a small community. You see the same faces every morning when you walk out the door. We aren’t far from the main operations. The air is different here, smells a bit like the coast since Mundra is close by. We’ve got a basic setup in the office. A few computers, some chairs that have seen better days, and plenty of water in the cooler. We do a lot of the local coordination from this spot. It’s convenient being right in the village. If someone needs something, they just walk over to B-5/4. There’s no formal reception or anything, you just come in. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are busy. It’s just how it goes. The weather can be a bit harsh, very dry and sunny most of the year. But we’ve got our routine down. It’s a good little spot for what we do. We share news about the village during our lunch breaks. It feels like a real community here. There is always someone coming by to drop off a message or just to say hello.
