Jaico Steel Fasteners Ltd.

Our place, Jaico Steel Fasteners Ltd., is over at Plot No. 269 in Sector-24. If you have ever been to this sector, you know it is mostly industrial plots and workshops. It’s not the quietest neighborhood because there is always some kind of grinding or hammering sound coming from one of the neighbors. We have a decent sized space here for the machinery and the stock. We mostly deal with fasteners, so there are boxes of screws and bolts stacked up pretty high in the back. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there, which is what you expect in a steel shop. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just the workshop and a small area where we keep the records. The gate is a bit heavy to pull open in the mornings. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we have a bit of a routine going. We start early before it gets too hot. Sector-24 is a bit out of the way for some, but it works for us. There isn't much in terms of gardens or scenery, just other factories and some power lines. It’s a honest day's work for everyone involved. We just keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. Most days are okay. That is how we do things.
