Indian Steel Corporation Limited is located in Gandhidham, Gujarat, at 7A, Gurukul Colony. Gandhidham is a place that feels very connected to the rest of the world because of the big ports. Our office in Gurukul Colony is in a bit of a calmer area compared to the docks. It is a standard building where we handle the business. We have a few rooms where we keep our computers and the files for our steel orders. It is a humble setup. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. We usually have the fans going because it gets very hot in Gujarat. Most of our day is spent talking to people about shipments and making sure the numbers are right. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes we have snacks if someone brings them in. It is a relaxed but busy atmosphere. We have been here for a good number of years. The people in the colony know us as the steel office. We don’t try to act like a big corporation even though it's in our name. We are just a group of people who know the trade. We focus on our daily work and try to keep things simple. 7A Gurukul Colony is where we spend most of our lives, and we have gotten quite comfortable in this little corner of Gandhidham.
