You can find us over at Plot Number 19 on Gurukul Road. This part of Gandhidham is pretty much all about industry and moving goods. We fit right in with the other plots around here. Our gate is usually open early because there is always something that needs to be moved or checked. We don't have a garden or a fancy entrance. It’s mostly just concrete, steel, and the sound of the wind coming off the coast. The office inside is practical. We have some sturdy tables and chairs that can handle the dust that always seems to find its way inside. People who come by are usually looking for specific loads or checking on their orders. We don't have a sales pitch or any of that. We just show them what we have and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to run things. My clothes usually have a bit of dirt on them by noon, but that’s just how it goes when you work with steel in Gujarat. We keep a close eye on the trucks coming in and out of Section 7C. It’s a busy road and you have to be careful with the traffic. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we know most of the regulars. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to get the job done. We just keep the records clean and the steel moving.
