We run Indian Steel Corporation Ltd from a spot over in Gandhidham, right in Ward 10 Aa. If you know the area, it is House No 1 on Plot 30 in the Avadh Narayan Tenament. It is mostly a quiet residential area, right near the Gurukul, which really helps when giving people directions over the phone. The office is actually c/o Jeetu Bhai Patel. It is a simple, no-frills place to handle our day-to-day stuff for the Kutch district. We have been here for a bit now, managing the steel work and keeping track of all the local orders that come through. There is nothing too fancy about the setup we have. It is just a regular house that we turned into a workspace where we deal with logistics and client paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit busy with people coming in and out, but we manage just fine. Being in Gandhidham makes a lot of sense for us because of the ports and the heavy industry nearby. The roads around the Gurukul can get pretty crowded during certain times of the day, especially when school lets out. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything is filed correctly in our cabinets. Most of the staff here live nearby, so it is a local operation through and through. We deal with lots of papers and phone calls all day long. It is the kind of place where you stop for a quick tea and then get right back to the steel figures. It works for what we need to do.
