Guru Kripa Mettalic

Guru Kripa Mettalic is out in Block No- 80 83, specifically at Plot No 30 in the Karanj Tal Mandvi area. To get here, you have to drive down near Fairbeaal Filament Road. It’s a bit of an industrial stretch, so you’ll see a lot of similar plots all around us. We spend our time here dealing with metal and it can get quite noisy when the machines are running. The air usually smells a bit like oil and iron. We have a small office section partitioned off, but it’s mostly just a place to keep the ledgers and the phone. The rest of the space is for the actual work. It’s dusty and the sun beats down on the metal roof, making it quite warm inside by midday. We all wear sturdy boots because there are always bits of scrap on the floor. It’s a tough kind of job but we’ve been doing it for a while now. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so we often help each other out if someone needs a tool or a bit of advice. We don't have a fancy sign outside, just the plot number and the name. It’s a quiet area once the work stops for the day, but during the hours we are open, it’s constant movement. We just focus on getting through the orders and making sure everything is measured right. It is hard work but we are used to it.
