Chamunda Fabrication

Our workshop is located in Jashanpara, along Thari Road. We are quite close to Shivaji Chowk, which is a major landmark in this area. Unlike a lot of offices, our place is a bit noisy because of the fabrication work we do. There is always the sound of metal being cut or welded, and there is usually a bit of dust in the air. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We spend our days working with different materials and trying to get the dimensions exactly as the customer asked for. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start a piece over again, which is just how it goes in this line of work. It’s just a workshop where we get our hands dirty and build things. People from the neighborhood come by with broken gates or ideas for new frames, and we sit down and figure out how to make it work. The sun can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for some water and then get back to the machines. We have no showroom, just finished work sitting out front for people to see. It’s a simple life of working with tools and trying to get the metal pieces to fit together right. We’ve been at this spot near Shivaji Chowk for years now and most of the locals know where to find us when they need something welded. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just basic fabrication and repair work for whoever stops by the shop.
