Ahir Chemfood

Ahir Chemfood is just us working out of Shop 116 on the first floor of Madhav Palace. We are located right near the Chamber of Commerce in Gandhidham. It is a busy area and the building has a lot of other offices too. We handle a mix of chemical products and food supplies, which keeps our days pretty interesting. Mostly we are busy with local orders and making sure everything is tracked properly in our books. The office is not very big and it is often full of samples and folders. We have a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. It gets quite warm in Gandhidham, so we usually have the fans running on high all day long. The noise from the street comes up to the first floor, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or coordinating with the transport guys. It is a lot of back and forth. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We are just a group of people trying to make a living by supplying what the market needs. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but it is steady. We like being near the Chamber of Commerce because it feels like we are in the middle of everything. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we do.
