Markandeshwar Farmers Producer Company is based at Shop No 79 in the New Gain Market in Babain. We are right there in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Kurukshetra market area. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where farmers come to talk and do business. We have the address in Babain Kurukshetra-136156, and that’s where you’ll find most of us during the day. We are just a group of farmers who thought it was better to work together than alone. There’s no corporate ladder here. We just sit around, drink some tea, and figure out how to get our produce sold. It gets loud and crowded in the market, but we are used to it. It’s part of the job. We don't have a mission statement or any of those things big companies have. We just want to make sure the work in the fields translates into something useful at the market. It’s hard work and the hours are long, starting very early in the morning. Sometimes we are still there late at night if there’s a lot of stuff coming in or if the trucks are delayed. We are just local people from Haryana trying to keep our farming community going. If you come to the New Gain Market, you’ll see we’re just regular folks in a regular shop, doing our best with what we have. It’s not always easy, but we enjoy the company of other farmers who drop by for a chat.
