We are the Kutail Farmers Producer Company Limited. If you are looking for us, we are located c/o Amar Singh, who is the son of Ratti Ram. We are right in Kutail. It is a quiet place where most people know each other by their first names or whose son they are. That is how things work around here. We started this company because the farmers in our area needed a way to work together. It isn’t always easy. We spend a lot of time sitting around talking about the crops and the rain. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we want it to, and other times there is too much of it. Our office is just a simple room in the village. There is no big sign or flashing lights. We have some chairs and a table where we sign papers and talk to the members. It can get quite muddy in the monsoon season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. We don't use big corporate talk because nobody here would listen to it anyway. We are just local people trying to get a better deal for our produce. It is honest work and it takes up all our time. Amar Singh helps keep everything organized. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our presence here in the village.
