Indian Public School

Indian Public School sits right on Kelamangalam Road in Anekollu. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We’ve been operating here for several years now. The school is right by the road, so we get a lot of dust from the passing vehicles. We spend quite a bit of time sweeping the floors because of it. It’s not a fancy school with lots of bells and whistles. We have the basic classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during their breaks. Most of the families in Anekollu know where we are. We don't do much advertising. People just hear about us from their neighbors. The staff here are just regular people who live nearby. We start early and finish in the late afternoon. There’s always some maintenance to do, like fixing a leaky roof or painting a door. We focus on the lessons and making sure the kids have their books. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t use any corporate jargon or big promises. We just show up and do the work every day. Kelamangalam Road can be busy, so we make sure the younger ones don’t run out onto the street. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. We have a small room for the principal and a couple of cupboards for all the records. It’s just a normal school in a normal town.
