Walia Trader

Walia Trader has been tucked away at 15-B Shopping Centre for quite a while now. If you walk past our front door, you’ll usually see a bunch of crates stacked up and maybe a few of us drinking tea while we check the inventory lists. It isn’t the fanciest spot in the building, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and making sure the stock is where it should be. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desk, especially when several deliveries show up at once. Dealing with traders and regular folks from around the area is just how our days go. You might hear the fan humming in the corner while we look for whatever item someone is asking about. The shelves are packed pretty tight, so sometimes it takes a minute to find the right box. We don't really do the big flashy signs or anything like that. People mostly know us because they’ve been coming here for years or they heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a bit dusty, and the chair for customers has a bit of a wobble, but it works. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they came for without too much trouble. It is a simple operation really, just us and the goods we move every day. That is how life is here at the shopping centre for us.
