Shivalik Publik School

We've been here in Dada Bari for a while now. Shivalik Publik School is right at 2Jh3. It's a busy spot in Kota. Every morning the gates open and the kids start coming in. It gets loud pretty fast but that's just how it is with a school. We have classrooms for different ages and a small area where they play during breaks. The teachers live around here too. Some have been with us since we started. We don't have fancy stuff but we try to keep the rooms clean and the fans working since Kota gets really hot in the summer. Parents usually drop by in the afternoon to pick up their children and chat a bit at the gate. It feels like a small community here. Most families in this part of Rajasthan know where we are. We just focus on getting through the lessons every day and making sure everyone is safe. Sometimes the cows walk past the entrance, and the street gets crowded. We keep a notice board out front for any news. It’s a basic setup but it works for the neighborhood. We are just a local school trying to help the kids in this area learn their basics. We don't worry about being the biggest or the most modern. Our focus is just on the daily work of teaching. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on from here, which is nice to see.
