Adarsh Gyan Mandir School

Adarsh Gyan Mandir School is situated in 1-D Shrinathpuram Sector D, right in the heart of Kota. Being in Rajasthan, we deal with a lot of heat, but our building keeps things reasonably cool for the students. We’ve been a part of this community for years, watching kids grow up from small children into young adults. It’s a steady kind of work. We don’t go in for all those modern marketing gimmicks. We just open the doors in the morning, make sure the teachers are in their rooms, and get to work. Most of our students live just a short walk away, so we see a lot of them playing in the streets after school hours too. Srinathpuram is a good place to be. It’s busy but it feels safe. Our school building is a solid, no-nonsense structure. We make sure the benches are sturdy and the chalk is stocked up. It’s funny how much chalk we go through in a month. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows wide, but the kids just keep going. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have books and we have teachers who know their subjects. That’s enough for us. We just want to provide a place where learning actually happens without all the extra fluff that people seem to want these days.
