Adarsh Gyan Mandir Senior Secondary School is tucked away at B 368 in the Talwandi area of Kota. Since we are in Kota, everyone knows that education is a big deal around here. Our street is usually filled with students and parents moving around. The school itself is a straightforward building. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. Inside, you’ll find the usual classrooms with wooden desks and blackboards. It’s a bit noisy when the classes change, but that’s just how it is. We have a lot of local kids, and some who moved to 324005 specifically for their studies. The teachers here are just regular people who’ve been teaching for years. We don’t have fancy uniforms for the staff or a grand entrance. It’s a place where work gets done. During the summer, the fans are always on full blast because the Rajasthan heat doesn't quit. We keep a small office for the paperwork and to talk to parents when they have concerns. It’s a busy life, keeping track of so many students and making sure the building stays in one piece. We don't make big promises, we just open up every day and do the teaching part. It’s a local school for local people, and we have been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now.
